Dr. Ramón Cugat

Dr. Cugat is an internationally-renowned expert in Orthopedic Surgery and Trauma Medicine and specializes in the world of sports. He is an expert in knee injuries and pioneered arthroscopic operations in Spain. He was a member of the team of orthopedic surgeons during the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games. In 2000, he began using Growth Factors as part of his treatments, and since 2013 he has specialized in using stem cells to repair anterior crucial ligament and cartilage injuries. Throughout his professional career, Dr.Cugat has been linked to the football world, treating thousands of players in all categories. Some of the most famous footballers whom he has treated include: Pep Guardiola, Xavi Hernández, Samuel Eto’o, Mikel Arteta, Cesc Fàbregas, Andrés Iniesta, Carles Puyol, David Silva, David Villa and Fernando Torres. Dr. Cugat was appointed as the Trauma Medicine Doctor at Barcelona Olympic Games (1992) and the Trauma Medicine Doctor of the Barcelona Dragons American Football team (1991).
