Dr. Xavier Mir

Dr Xavier Mir manages the Hand Surgery and Micro-Surgery Unit in the Traumatology and Orthopaedic Surgery Department of Hospital Universitari Dexeus. He is a leader in sports medicine for his treatment of injured elite athletes. He was the KTM-Repsol team doctor during the Dakar Rally from 2005 to 2009. The athletes surgically treated by Dr.Mir include the motorcycle racers Jorge Lorenzo, Dani Pedrosa, Marc Marquez, Aleix and Pol Espargaro, and the sprinter Bruno Hortelano.
